Biography

Mo Idriss (born Mohammed Idriss, Nottingham, England) is a British actor who was raised in North London, where he attended Sir Phillip Magnus School and Highbury Grove School. Although he took drama in school, he initially followed his father into accounting before reigniting his passion for acting through involvement in Bollywood films and supporting artiste work. He then received training from Mark McGann and Drama Direct, as well as attending the City Academy and a short course at the Poor School King's Cross. He has one daughter, Imogen, and has been active since 2009, building a career in small supporting and background roles across British and international productions. His notable film credits include A Fantastic Fear of Everything (2012) (Simon Pegg, Kate Winslet), Dead Cert (2010) (Simon Pegg, Nick Frost), Fan (2016) (Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif), Doctor Strange (2016) (Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor), War Machine (2017) (Brad Pitt, Anthony Michael Hall), Muppets Most Wanted (2014) (Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell), Now Is Good (2012) (Dakota Fanning, Jeremy Irvine), and Still Life (2013) (Joanne Froggatt, Eddie Marsan). On television he has appeared in Trigger Point (2022) (Adrian Lester, Vicky McClure), Patient Zero (2018) (Stanley Tucci, Bill Paxton), and the 2012 London Olympic Opening Ceremony: Isles of Wonder.
