The chubby princess Emilka is presented to him as a bride, but Prince Bečka falls in love with the completely slim princess Anna. Emilka cannot let this go and uses magic to turn Anna into a budgie, a small bird. The prince mourns for his beloved princess, does not eat and loses weight.
